My name is Annie Clarke and in 2004 I established Holdsworth Studios as a specialist restoration workshop in County Durham. I have since been entrusted with a growing range of high value specialist projects which I have completed to the highest standards, ensuring absolute confidentiality and a very personal service.

I graduated in Fine Art, then trained in painting conservation at private studios and the Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery. In 1996 I joined the BAFRA and UKIC accredited workshops of Richard Higgins Conservation Ltd, where I enjoyed eight years perfecting my skills working on historic decorative surfaces and studying a wide range of disciplines.

I have organised conferences for the British Antique Furniture Restorers Association and have supported regional committees for the Historic Houses Association. I am a member of the Institute of Conservation.
